First Game

Today, Dalton played in his first ever T-ball game. We were afraid he wouldn't be able to play because of the rain, but they played through the rain. The name of his team is the Red Sox and he looks too cute in his little uniform. The coach will pitch the ball a few times to see if the child can hit it out of the air and then put the ball on the tee if he can't hit it out of the air. Dalton played really well and had lots of fun in the mud. From the rain during the morning and during the game the field was just really muddy and many of the kids just didn't want to get dirty. One kid would hit the ball and the kids in the field didn't want to touch the ball because of how dirty the ball had become. Other kids were having meltdowns because they were getting wet and dirty. You'd think they wouldn't mind getting dirty, but I guess they just didn't want to mess up their nice new uniforms.
